What is Bowen Therapy, and how does it work?

Bowen Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive remedial technique that uses light, precise movements over muscles and fascia to stimulate your body’s natural healing. By working on the nervous system, it helps release physical tension and improve mobility without forceful manipulation.

What should I wear to my Bowen or Reiki session?

You remain fully clothed during your session. I recommend wearing light, loose, or stretchy clothing (like activewear) so I can easily perform the movements over the fabric. Avoid thick materials like heavy denim.

How many sessions will I need to see results?

Many clients at my West Lakes clinic feel a "reset" or pain relief after just one session. For chronic back, neck, or shoulder pain, I typically recommend a series of 3 sessions spaced 7 to 10 days apart to allow your body to fully integrate the healing.

Is Bowen Therapy like a massage?

No, it is quite different. Unlike massage, there is no kneading or oils used. Bowen Therapy uses specific rolling moves followed by important "pauses" that allow your brain and body to process the signals and begin the reset.

Where do you hold your 1:1 sessions?

I host all private Bowen Therapy, Reiki, and Soulful Serenity sessions at my clinical practice in West Lakes. This lakeside setting is designed for deep, individual healing and relaxation

Where is the Reiki Training and Women's Circle?

I facilitate our Usui Reiki Level 1 and 2 Training and Women's Circles either in Semaphore Park Westbourne Park. These are held in collaboration with The Mother’s Temple as part of the Aligned Soul Collective.

Where are the Reiki Circles held?

Our regular Reiki Circles take place at 19 on Green in Brompton. I co-host these sessions through the Aligned Soul Collective to provide a central Adelaide space for shared healing energy.

Who facilitates the workshops and circles?

I facilitate all sessions personally. While my 1:1 practice is independent, my group events in Westbourne Park, Semaphore Park and Brompton are collaborative offerings through the Aligned Soul Collective.
